Iconic landmarks around Lisbon were bathed in a green light yesterday to celebrate St Patrick’s Day. Monuments taking part in the event include Christ the King in Almada, the Duke of Terceira statue in Lisbon and the Condes de Castro Palace Museum in Cascais. Christ the King and the Duke’s statue will remain green today (18 March), while the palace in Cascais will continue to glow until the 21 March. Read more: theportugalnews.com
