I WONDER HOW MANY HUMANS AND ANIMALS THE AMERICAN KILLED BY DROPPING MILLIONS TONS OF BOMBS IN THE 60'S AND 70''S THESE PEOPLE HAVE LIVED PEACEFULLY WITH THEIR NEIGHBORS, AND KILLING ANIMALS TO EAT FOR CENTURIES AND YET THEY HAVE NOT DESTROYED THE ANIMALS. LAOS TRADITION WILL BE INTACT AS LONG WHITE FOLKS DON'T GO IN. JUST THAT SIMPLE. .

it's 2015 and there is nothing wonderful about a communist country jungle fill with blood, dead bodies, child getting rape, killing and genocide of my peoples ( the hmong ). when I think of laos I can see hell on earth. this '' beauty'' side of laos is only to fool the public eyes. behind close door the laos government is trying to genocide all ethnic groups that help the Americans in the secret war. spread the words. please help the hmong peoples that r still fighting for their lives deep in the jungle of laos. watch '' hunted like animals'' documentary and it will change ur whole point of view about how wonderful laos jungle is.

Laos has a special place in my heart, I visited there over 10 years ago and fell in love with the people. I would like to visit again one day but hope the western influence hasn't altered the magical Lao culture too much.

I don"t think the global warming is because of the carbon fuel. I think it is because of the damns humans have built. The damns prevent sweet water from returning back to the ocean so the saltiness of the oceans increases. The salt absorbs heat and it melts ice hence we get oceans rising.

As 'democracy' spreads, capitalism increases, economic growth and materialism advances, and as the poor require to be come richer - so will the spiritual, cultural, and natural riches of this country be increasingly destroyed. This is what we call civilization. Only the violent past has hindered 'progress' and development. Tourism is the first step towards opening out this country to the destructive encroachments of Western influence. The 'progress' of civilization always inevitably destroys nature and traditional peoples. Open your eyes. The 'wonder' of Laos will also die. This is the price of our riches, luxury, and materialism.

I love everyone. I'm full fledged Lao born in the US. Our parents and grandparents came to America for the freedom and acceptance of one another. They escaped from the horrifying Lao government that both Lao and Hmong fear. I hope the hatred stops all throughout America's nation between our Hmong and Lao citizens. America is known for uniting every race/ethnicity, we all as brothers and sisters need to unite and accept each other. Because now we're in America, and we're free.
