Ordinary customers of New Zealand’s national carrier, Air New Zealand, yesterday got wind of the exclusive airport lounges for high-value customers at major airports which until now have been a closely guarded secret. Membership of the invitation-only club for elite customers is thought to number around 100 people including top chief executives and a university Vice-Chancellor. Other airlines offer similar services for ‘high rollers’ which include specialised menus, personalised service, better facilities and an escort to the terminal gates. Read more: stuff.co.nz
