Worshippers at Jerusalem’s Western Wall on Tuesday were amazed to see water flowing from the ancient stones, and some interpreted it as a sign of the messiah’s imminent arrival.

Their excitement was short-lived however, as maintenance staff confirmed the water was a result of a burst water pipe. There is a prophecy in the bible’s Old Testament that says  water flowing from ‘the house of the Lord’ in Jerusalem signifies the coming of the messiah. Read more: timesofisrael.com
