Sounding more like the stuff of Homer Simpson’s dreams rather than an actual event, Beer Week is currently up and flowing in New York

On tap are the best brews the city has to offer  and all you need to do, according to the New York City Brewer’s Guild website, is go on-line to whet your thirst. From there, it is a simple matter of scheduling your social activities around the myriad events that are taking place for those who love everything ale, lager and malt-related.

Fortunately for those working hard all week, the celebrations are due to continue into the weekend, ending with a ‘Closing Beer and Brass Brunch’ from 12pm-4pm on Sunday. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available, so there is no excuse not to partake in an afternoon of Brooklyn brunching to the sound of the big brass band.
