With Valentine’s Day coming fast up the track, many couples are already planning ahead a night to remember with their loved ones but this package from Fairmont Dubai has brought the idea to a whole new level. For the whopping price tag of AED85,000 (around US$23,000), you can have what’s possibly the most luxurious Valentine’s Day experience ever in Dubai.
“It’s a day that comes only once a year and our aim this year was to go ‘all-out’ with the ultra-luxurious offering,” Terje Abrams of Fairmont Dubai told Lonely Planet who also confirmed that it was indeed one of the most expensive packages in the city. Abrams says that the package “is catered towards couples, who don’t want to put a price tag on love and who truly value luxury”.
The package includes a stretch limo pick-up followed by a helicopter ride over Dubai. Guests will be staying in a two-storey Imperial Suite, where a private butler awaits with a bouquet of 100 red roses and a diamond jewellery set worth over AED15,000 ($4000).
But it doesn’t stop there! Guests will also get a professional makeover and for dinner, be treated to a seven-course meal created by the personal chef, served on the hotel’s rooftop and accompanied by a live violinist.
The next morning they will receive a champagne breakfast in bed and in the afternoon there will be a 40-minute flight on board a seaplane followed by a massage. Then the lucky couple will be whisked off onto a private yacht with more champagne, followed by another dinner in the evening and a gourmet breakfast buffet to finish things off.
This isn’t the first time that the hotel has catered towards loved-up couples. Last year Fairmont Dubai released a similar but not as extravagant package but with still a hefty price tag of AED 15,000 (approximately $4000).
Abrams confirmed that while there hasn’t been a booking to date, the team has gotten a number of enquiries. Bookings have to be made prior to 10 February.
