iPad glitch grounds dozens of American Airlines flights

A software malfunction in an iPad app caused delays for about two dozen American Airlines flights on Tuesday. According to a statement from the airline, the app replaces over 35lbs of paper reference materials pilots need to carry on each flight. Pilots reported crashing devices while passengers began seeking other options to reach their destinations. The company apologized for the inconvenience to its customers. Read more: usatoday.com
