The Punjabi branch of the hardline Hindu Shiv Sena movement has offered a reward of Rs 100,000 for anyone who slaps Bollywood star Aamir Khan, following a controversial public speech in which the actor condemned intolerance towards Muslims in India.

The Sena are one of India’s most strident Hindu nationalist organisations, and they have been accused of agitating intercommunal tension in the country, most famously in Mumbai, where riots killed hundreds in 1992 and 1993. Read more: dawn.com
