The Villa Adriana archaeological site in Tivoli, near Rome, is to be protected from damage by a team of satellites and drones.

The project will monitor the Unesco World Heritage listed site from the air to check for any activity, such as unlicensed building or digging, that could pose a threat to the integrity of the site.
