A children’s petting zoo in Gothenburg, Sweden, has been closed until further notice after keepers discovered some of the animals had skin lesions. The keepers suspect that a number of lambs and goats at the zoo in Slottskogen have a contagious skin condition – similar to eczema – that can be passed on to humans. Staff said they are currently awaiting the results of the tests and recent visitors displaying any symptoms such as sores or blisters on their hands should seek medical advice. Read more: thelocal.se
