The village of Salvador do Mundo in the Indian state of Goa has introduced a ban on kissing in public, as part of a backlash against the perceived lax morals of visiting tourists. Introduced by village elders, the ban also forbids visitors from drinking, smoking, loud music and ‘making a public nuisance’.
