The village of Salvador do Mundo in the Indian state of Goa has introduced a ban on kissing in public, as part of a backlash against the perceived lax morals of visiting tourists. Introduced by village elders, the ban also forbids visitors from drinking, smoking, loud music and ‘making a public nuisance’. The move follows a campaign by the BJP-led state government to ban revealing clothing from Goa’s beaches. Read more: timesofindia.indiatimes.com
