A 4-ton sticky-rice cake made to celebrate Khmer New Year in Cambodia has been declared by Guinness World Records to be the largest ever. To qualify for the record, the giant cake had to follow specific guidelines for ingredients and construction. Among the ingredients in the record-breaking cake are one ton of rice, 500kg of coconut milk, 500kg of mung beans and 333kg of banana leaves.
