Get a job on Richard Branson’s private island in the Caribbean

If you’re looking for a new challenge – one that will take you to warmer climes of the British Virgin Islands – then apply to work for billionaire Richard Branson on his private island retreat.

Branson’s company Virgin is looking for a new personal and administrative assistant to go to work in the Caribbean. The job will take a lucky employee to Necker Island, a 74-acre site that operates as an exclusive luxury resort for 34 people. The new job will be working as a personal assistant to the island’s general manager Keny Jones and as an administration assistant at Richard Branson’s office.

While moving to a private island may sound like an absolute dream, it will actually require a lot of work, as the successful candidate will be covering roles in two busy offices. The job will include correspondence, email management, filing, booking travel and covering for Branson’s personal assistants when they are away.

If all the work doesn’t deter you, then there are still certain skills you’ll need to have. Administrative and organisational skills are a must, as well as some experience in an office setting. On top of that, you’ll need to be outgoing and enthusiastic. Perhaps most importantly, since you’ll be working with a famous billionaire, you’ll need to know the importance of discretion and confidentiality.
