The half-brother of world-famous polar bear Knut has been born at Rostock Zoo in Germany. Keepers at the zoo revealed that the baby bear – whose name is yet to be announced – was born in December but, until now, has been kept under the watchful eye of his mother, Vilma, in their den. He is expected to make his first public appearance in March. The infant shares a father with Knut, who died tragically at Berlin Zoo in 2011. Read more: edition.cnn.com
