Generous Easter bunny visits every house in Dorset village

Residents of a small village awoke to find a mysterious benefactor had left an Easter egg on the doorstep of every house.

Villagers have spoken of their love for Alderholt in Dorset, near the New Forest, after the generous gesture with Karen Smith posting on Twitter: “The Easter bunny has left one of these outside every house in Alderholt. Love our village.”

The village has a population of 3,113 people, has three churches, a convenience store, a part-time GP’s surgery and a pub.
