Game of Thrones eyes Girona for sixth series filming

Game of Thrones could be set to return to Spain for the sixth series, which producers have let slip could be eyeing Girona for future filming. Parts of the fifth series, currently airing globally on Sky, were filmed in Seville, Cόrdoba, Madrid and Osuna where buildings such as Seville’s Alcazar palace played an important role in the portrayal of the kingdom of Dorne.
