Foreigners book more tours from Russia due to weak rouble

The demand for package tours (including return flights) from Russia has significantly increased due to the weakened rouble.

The customers are mainly from the Baltic states and Germany who have Russian visas or passports.  According to one travel agency, from November 2015 to February 2016 foreign clients booked 364 package tours with flights from Moscow, which is a big change because there used to be only a few such bookings. An increase in flights from Moscow and St Petersburg booked online by foreign clients has also been recorded. Read more: themoscowtimes.com
