Fierce price war means UAE flight fares plummet

Stiff competition between carriers means flight fares from the UAE to Europe and the US are dropping fast, with Emirates, Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines all announcing cheap deals this week. Increased capacity on these routes, combined with the dropping oil prices have forced airlines to offer very competitive rates. Airlines have denied their price cuts are related to an ongoing dispute over whether Emirates benefits from state subsidies, a claim the carrier deny. Read more: thenational.ae
