The excavation site of the Amphipolis tomb in northern Greece, which was among the top ten discoveries in the world in 2014, is not open to visitors at the moment and could even become buried again due to heavy rains and neglect, according to Greece’s Culture Ministry. The ground is currently unstable and when the weather improves, a drainage system will have to be implemented before autumn.
