The first Eurostar direct services from London to Lyon and the south of France kicked off on Friday 1 May. The services link London St Pancras International station with Lyon in 4 ½ hours, Marseille in 6 ½ hours and Avignon in just under six hours. Tickets first went on sale back in December 2014.
