The observatory at the top of One World Trade Center, New York, doesn’t open until 29th May, but a video has been released giving a sneak peek of the elevator ride that will take visitors up the 102 floors to the viewing deck. The video shows an incredible time-lapse animation of the development of the New York skyline: as visitors start their journey they will see just grass and swamp land, and will end it with a view of the skyscrapers of today.
