A roller coaster at the Six Flags Over Georgia theme park near Atlanta is going to start the season running backwards. The 18-year-old Batman attraction has given more than 16 million rides in its lifetime, but they have all been in the same direction. The reverse route will operate for several weeks from when the park opens on 14 March. It means thrill-seeking riders will be taken up a 10-storey hill in reverse before racing along 2700 ft of track at 50 mph. Read more: miamiherald.com
