Eight hundred new accessible taxis to be added to Beijing’s streets

A total of 800 new accessible taxis will soon grace the streets of Beijing. The barrier-free taxis are designed for those with mobility issues, including extra access for wheelchairs. Currently only 70 of the 66,000 Beijing taxis are barrier-free taxis, though the city government plans to bring this number up to 2000 by 2020. Read more: wantchinatimes.com
