Delta Air Lines will begin non-stop service from its biggest hub in Atlanta to Cartagena and Medellin, Colombia in December. In early 2016 the airline hopes to introduce daily round-trip flight service to Medellin and flights to Cartagena three times a week. The routes, which are subject to approval by the Federal Aviation Administration, would boost business and leisure travel to the country and allow travellers from Colombia easier access to European markets.
