The tour focuses in on inspiring women in adventure travel and begins in Bangkok on 14 October, 2018. This incredible 14-day tour goes through Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam where travellers will experience amazing cultures and eat extraordinary food.

From the awe-inspiring temple complex of Angkor Wat to the bustling streets of Phnom Penh and the fertile Mekong Delta and floating markets the experience is jam-packed with a variety aimed to inspire.

According to Exodus, these new trips are to appeal to women of all ages and activity levels; “from solo travellers to mothers and their grown daughters, to groups of girlfriends looking for an active, adventurous, or immersive getaway”.

The company noticed that a high percentage of women were taking more and more adventure trips over the years and that they were being empowered by their experiences of being with like-minded adventurers and the physical challenges. “There’s a growing demand for trips that go beyond spa and yoga retreats with girlfriends—adventure and exploration is not a boys’ club anymore” Robin Brooks, marketing and PR manager of Exodus Travels said. “In 2017, 65% of our travellers were female and we have seen a huge increase in women looking for active adventures such as cycling, walking, trekking and responsible wildlife tours. I’m proud to say that we work hard to inspire women to take on new adventures and experience the rewards of pushing their limits.”

The new tours are made up of between four – 16 travellers and are led by local female guides. You can find out more here.
