Construction to begin on huge new Vegas resort

One of the biggest resorts to be built for years in Las Vegas will break ground in May, it has been announced. Resorts World will sit towards the northern section of the famous Strip on the site formerly occupied by the Stardust Hotel. Containing 3000 rooms, 30 restaurants, a 4000-seat theatre and a huge gaming floor, it will take years to complete but the owners hope it will transform an area of the city that is often neglected by visitors focusing on the hotels further south.
