San Francisco city council is looking to ban tour bus operators from also delivering running commentary to passengers using microphones. While many companies offering hop-on, hop-off tours of the city already have a separate employee telling passengers what they’re looking at, some still use a driver holding a mike and this is what the Board of Supervisors is looking to stop. Drivers who provide commentary say that the practice is safe and no ban is needed. Read more: sfgate.com
