Asia & the Pacific, Weird, Odd & Just Plain Fun
McDonald’s caters to all flavours and to every part of the world, but perhaps no one would’ve expected its latest invention.
The food chain took to Twitter to announce the arrival of its latest invention for the Japanese market – McChoco Potato.
In its statement introducing the latest novelty, McDonald’s writes: “Japanese customers can now enjoy an ideal combination of McDonald’s French fries drizzled with two types of chocolate sauces – chocolate with cacao flavor and white milk chocolate.” Furthermore, it says that the chocolate french fries are suited to dessert or a snack, because of its “wonderful salty and sweet harmonious taste”.
The interesting twist on the classic will hit Japanese stores on 26 January for a limited time only and it’s not been confirmed whether it will be travelling to other countries.
