If you love cats, celebrity cats, playing with cats and even adopting a cat in need, then a new pop-up coming to New York is for you.
A new pop-up will open on 15 February for five days only – and you better believe it will send feline-fans into a frenzy. The Cats on Glass Gallery presented by Fresh Step Clean Paws is being held to promote the company’s kitty litter – but will also support a good cause, as you can donate to or adopt a cat in need from the Humane Society of New York.
Each room in the pop-up exhibit will feature an element of cats and an element of glass – include a live “Cats on Glass Playhouse”. The pop-up will feature a “larger-than-life cat display”, a yarn pom-pom room, a meditation room with the sounds of cats purring and more. If you’re truly interested in bringing a kitty into your family, you can play with cats that can be adopted.

As anyone who uses the internet knows, cats get a lot of love online. That’s why guests are also encouraged to head in and take as many pictures as they want – as an Instagram post and story will trigger a donation to the cats at the Humane Society of New York.
The Cats on Glass Gallery will open on 15 February at 6 pm with a VIP launch party, featuring celebrity cat characters like the “Kitten Lady” Hannah Shaw, BriAnne Wills of the Instagram handle @GirlsAndTheirCats and the celebrity kitty Nala Cat. Later, it will open that evening to the public from 7 to 9 pm, and will then be open 16 – 19 February from 10 am to 6 pm at 524 W. 26th St. at Tenth Ave., near the High Line. Admission is free, but the spaces are limited – and judging by the number of the cat-lovers in this world, likely to fill-up quickly. For more information and to RSVP, visit here.
If you won’t be in NYC next week, it’s still early enough to start planning a trip to Vancouver, Canada in July. On 29 July, the city will hold its first-ever cat festival, which will also feature celebs like Nala Cat and the Kitten Lady. Find out more about that festival here.
