Cape Town is calling all kitesurfers to visit the city between 29 and 31 January in an attempt to break a Guinness world record.

The Virgin Kitesurfing Armada, first led by Sir Richard Branson, has previously set just such a record with ‘The Largest Parade of Kitesurfers’ raising money for charity (the 2014 event featured 352 participants). Virgin will again be at the helm of this latest attempt, and promise participants an action packed day of kitesurfing, entertainment and fundraising. Read more: news24.com
