The streets of San Antonio on the Spanish island of Ibiza will be patrolled by British police this summer in an attempt to crack down on British gangs that pedal designer drugs on the island during the peak tourist season. Spanish officials hope the move will help improve security for tourists and locals and expects the British police will have intelligence on the idiosyncrasies of the Manchester- and Liverpool-based gangs that will help catch the criminals.
