‘Black magic’ paraphenalia seized at Dubai airport

Dubai airport customs staff have confiscated 10,000 items from passengers that they believed were to be used as black magic talismans. The items included fish skeletons, animal drawings, worry beads and amulet skins. Any item that could be associated with sorcery or black magic is prohibited by the GCC Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee. Inspectors say they have foiled 155 attempts to smuggle such items into the UAE. Read more: thenational.ae
