Beekeepers from Grenada win award for world’s best honey

The National Honey Show recently had its 84th annual meeting in London, England, drawing beekeepers from around the world to compete for the Medal of Ukraine, which is awarded to the best honey in the world outside of Great Britain.

This year, the winners were Dr. Valma Jessamy and Jerry Edwin, two beekeepers who own and operate Eden Apiaries in the Grenville Vale Tropical Botanic Garden in Grenada. The winning honey is gifted to the head beekeeper at Buckingham Palace. Read more: caribbeannewsnow.com
