Spain’s Jose Manuel Garcia Margallo, France’s Laurent Fabius and Germany’s Frank-Walter Steinmeier joined government officials from the regional government of Catalonia – whose capital is Barcelona – to lay three wreaths in a silent ceremony outside the airport.

The Germanwings flight took off from Barcelona on March 24 and was heading for the German city of Dusseldorf but crashed in southern France.

Most of the victims were German or Spanish.
