Thousands of bright pink plastic bottles have washed up on a beach in Cornwall in the UK. Volunteers are clearing the 2000 detergent bottles from Poldhu Beach, on the Lizard, as they pose a potential risk to wildlife. Further bottles are expected to wash up in the area today, the National Trust said.

Guns N Roses are set to ‘revive’ band Image by PA

Guns N’ Roses founding members Slash and Duff McKagan are set to reunite with Axl Rose as the band headlines this year’s Coachella festival in California. Lead vocalist Rose has been the only original member left in the band since bassist McKagan and guitarist Slash left in the 1990s. It is the first date to be officially announced by the revived band.
