Fragments of pottery vessels used by the ancient Egyptians to produce beer have been found in Tel Aviv. The pottery dates back to the Bronze Age and was found in an archeological site very close to the city’s drinking and nightlife hotspots today. The find is the first evidence of an ancient Egyptian presence in the area which is today Tel Aviv. Read more: telegraph.co.uk
