Ghanaian student Emmanuel Aknomanyi boarded a flight from Sao Paulo to Georgetown, Guyana – or so he thought. Aknomanyi was headed to the country on the Caribbean coast to attend medical school and instead arrived in Goiânia, Brazil, 1864 miles away from Guyana.
