In a freak accident, a ground technician for Air India has been sucked into the engine of an Air India flight in Mumbai. The A-319 aircraft was making final preparations before departing for Hyderabad when the accident occured.
The technician was killed instantly and the flight was immediately halted and traumatised passengers were removed from the aircraft. Initial reports suggest the plane was following an unusual engine start-up procedure because of problems with the aircraft’s auxillary power unit. Read more: timesofindia.indiatimes.com
