The best way to taste “The Real Crete” is to walk through the country side, the inland parts of the island. Along mule paths, down to river beds, through olive groves and along stony mountain paths.

The 7 different walks are organized in small groups and escorted by an experienced guide. During every walk you will see nature in all its variety. Each route shows you something of historical interest as well as present-day Kriti. No special training is required, but you should be reasonably fit.

The average walking time is around 4,5 hours. Transport to the starting point of the walk and return to your hotel (taxi or minibus) is included. You need walking shoes or trainers, sun glasses, sun hat, drinking water, and have a good breakfast.
