Millie Bobbie Brown, the actor that plays the formidable Eleven will be headlining the two-day event at Westin O’Hare and the convention will also feature appearances by Noah Schnapp (Will Byers), Joe Keery (Steve Harrington), Shannon Purser (Barb), Brett Gelman (Murray Bauman) and Carla Buono (Karen Wheeler). Brett will also be MCing the entire event. In addition to panels with the stars, attendees will also be able to take part in an 80s-themed costume contest, trivia competition and shop in the convention vendor area with items to satisfy all sorts of geeks.

“Stranger Things captured everyone’s attention when it debuted in 2016 with amazing performances, intriguing mystery, and its Steven Spielberg/Stephen King vibe,” the convention’s founders Creation Entertainment said. “Drawing on ’80’s culture, horror, and the all too familiar experiences of being a nerdy kid, the show managed to be fresh and exciting while feeling familiar and relatable. There’s no way we at Creation will ever look at Christmas lights the same way again!”

Premium Gold tickets (US$359/€292) that included priority queuing, exclusive panels, reserved seats and autographs from all of the stars are already sold out. The Copper tickets are also sold out and tickets for autographs and the weekend are selling out fast. Its showrunners, the Duffer Brothers, have said that the series is likely to end after its fourth or fifth season.
